Firefox 15 Makes Huge Memory Shrink Progress

Firefox has been making huge strides in memory usage reduction as part of its MemShrink program. The improvements have been noticeable and multiple large leaks have been plugged and garbage control has been implemented.

The latest Firefox 15 will include improved garbage control that work with memory leaks in your extensions. For many users this will be huge. Firefox users may not realize that extensions can have leaks too and they can be very large.
